Citi® Dividend Platinum Credit Card for Students      
The Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card for College Students is an ideal card if you want to earn cash back on your card purchases. You'll earn a 2% rebate on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, convenience stores, and utilities including cable. You'll also earn an average of 5% cash back for purchases made through the Citi Dividend Merchant Network. For all other purchases and cash advances you'll earn a 1% rebate. A flat $5 is awarded for each balance transfer of $1,500 or more. Rebates on purchases made through the Citi Dividend Merchant Network are unlimited; however, rebates on purchases made everywhere else are limited to $300 per year. This card offers an interest-free introductory period for all transactions with no annual fee, but the rate for purchases is above average after the introductory rate expires. This card does offer many platinum benefits and services, so if you are able to pay your balance in full, it's an excellent choice.
 
Discover® Student Credit Card - Clear      
The Discover® Student Card - Clear is ideal if you are looking for a cash back reward card. Through the reward program, you'll earn a 5% rebate for purchases made in categories that change four times a year like travel, gas, restaurants, movies and more. Plus, you'll earn up to 1% for general purchases. You can also earn up to a double Cashback Bonus® for redeeming your rebates for gift certificates from participating Discover Card Partners. There is no yearly limit on the amount of rebates that can be earned, and rebates do not expire as long as the account is active within a 36-month period. This card has an above average interest rate on purchases and balance transfers, and it uses a more costly method of computing balances, so it is not ideal if you plan to carry a balance. However, there is no annual fee, and a 0% introductory rate applies to purchases for the first six months. Common benefits and services are also provided.
 
Discover® Student Card - Tropical Beach      
The Discover® Student Card - Tropical Beach is an ideal card if you want to earn cash rebates on card purchases. Through the reward program, you'll earn a 5% rebate for purchases made in popular categories that change four times a year like travel, gas, restaurants, movies, and more. Plus, you'll earn up to 1% for general purchases. You can also earn up to a double Cashback Bonus® for redeeming your rebates for gift certificates from participating Discover Card Partners. There is no limit to the amount of rebates you can earn. This card offers an interest-free introductory period for purchases with no annual fee, but the rate for purchases is above average after the introductory rate expires. Discover® Student Credit Card - Monogram      
The Citi® Platinum Credit Card for Students provides you with an interest-free introductory rate on all transactions and student-related discounts at various participating merchants. There is a 0% introductory rate on purchases, balance transfers, and cash advances for the first six months, which is a rare benefit for a student card. There is no annual fee, but the interest rate on purchases and balance transfers is above average after the introductory rate expires, and it is not ideal if you plan to carry a balance. However, the card does offer many student-related discounts on various products and services, and there are many additional benefits including various travel and emergency assistance services.
 
Capital One® Standard Platinum(SM) for Students      
The Capital One® Standard Platinum Card for Students is for those students with a limited credit history who are not looking for any rewards. Although there are no rewards, this card provides platinum benefits and services including 24/7 customer support, extended warranties for purchases, and $0 fraud liability. Cardholders will also be eligible to receive exclusive savings: up to 40% on featured deals and 10% on everything else at Capital One® Saving Zone(SM) on Yahoo! Shopping. This card has no annual fee and a 0% introductory rate that can be applied to purchases until February 2008.
 
Discover® Student Card - Clear      
As a student, you probably haven't had much opportunity to build your credit history yet. The Discover Student Clear Card, issued through Morgan Stanley, gives students the chance to establish a credit report and earn rewards at the same time. The card offers great introductory rates making it easy to get started with your card as soon as you receive it, and there is no annual fee which means you won't be paying just to have the card in your wallet. Discover Student Clear credit card gives 1% cash back on every purchase made (over $3,000 in a year), although you can increase cash back to 5% at certain retails (like bookstores, restaurants, gas stations and home improvement stores). Continental Finance Gold MasterCard for Students      
The Continental Finance Gold MasterCard® issued by First Bank of Delaware, is a credit card designed for those with poor credit who would like a second chance. The main benefit of this unsecured credit card is that it reports to credit bureaus. This card has a very low APR of 9.75%, and it has an average annual fee of $27. It also charges a monthly maintenance fee of $10 ($120 per year). There is a one-time account set-up fee of $99 and a one-time program participation fee of $89. This means that the total amount of fees that a cardholder can expect to pay in the first year will be $335. However, this is comparable to the amount of fees that most cardholders with poor credit will be required to pay to have their account reported to the credit bureaus
